The CU CROP Walk 2026 will be held on Sunday, October 4th at 2 pm, hosted by the Unitarian Universalist Church of Urbana Champaign. It is a community-wide interfaith effort to fight hunger and poverty, and to relieve suffering from disasters. 

Hunger and poverty have increased dramatically in our own community and worldwide. Of the funds raised, 25% will go to four local groups: the Daily Bread Soup Kitchen, the Eastern Illinois Food Bank, Sola Gratia Farm, and the Wesley Food Pantry; 75% will go to other parts of the world, wherever the need is greatest. 

CROP Walk has a global network of over 300 service organizations which work together to fight hunger and poverty, and provide crisis relief around the world. This includes assistance to refugees from wars and climate disasters. There will always be hunger, poverty, war, and disasters in this world. There are times, like right now, when it seems overwhelming!  CROP Walk is one way to know that your donation is making a real difference, because we are working together with a large global network of caring people.
